Bingo & Mingle
Barkada’s Bingo & Mingle: Friends Over Dates is a community-led social gathering designed to foster genuine connection in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. The evening features a bingo session, casual mingling, and sweet treats, creating an easy way for attendees to meet new people.

Worship Jam
Worship Jam is a warm, spirit-filled gathering led by Art Circle YYC where musicians and singers come together to play, sing, and flow in worship. It is about connection, freedom, and genuine expression with no stage, no pressure, just open hearts, shared sound, and praise that feels alive.

ATC Trading Cards Session
Come trade artist trading cards! The cards are 2.5“ by 3.5” in size. A trading card can be a drawing, a painting, a collage, a print, sewn fabric, knotwork, photographs, digital prints, photocopies. In short, whatever your creative juices can conjure upon this tiny little area.
Creatives Mixer
Our Creatives Mixer are a quarterly networking event that brings together people that Alcove collaborates with, local creatives, individuals who work in the sector, and supporters!

Paint on Clothing Workshop with Chish
Workshop attendees will learn how to paint on clothing using acrylic paint with artist Chish. We’ll explore visual references and examples for inspiration, then bring them to life on fabric. Participants are encouraged to bring a clothing item they love or something old that’s ready for a refresh. This could be a hoodie, crewneck, jacket, jeans, tote bag, pants, or a thick T-shirt.

Hosted by Bryan Sandberg & featuring talent from the Kinkonauts company and community, Brainstorm is an improv comedy show that will give you the Thursday night laugh break you've been craving. This one-hour improv show features a variety of content and styles, so whether you love short-form or long-form, Brainstorm will be a show that you will want to say "Yes, And" to!
Emulgere - Art Exhibit
In Emulgere, Teghan and Zoe present a curation of experimental darkroom, mixed-media and print work made using different materials, alternative chemistry processes and light manipulation.

Beyond the Postcard: Cuba's Untold Stories
Beyond the Postcard is led by Afro-Cuban Canadian artist Hebert Poll Gutiérrez, in collaboration with Samuel Kugbiyi, Adania Reyes, Amelí Pereira, and Sara-Maya Kaba. This immersive journey through film, puppetry, animation, and spoken word reveals Cuba’s heart—raw, resilient, and unapologetic—telling the stories of those too often silenced.
