Ugat ng Paglalakbay (“Roots of the Journey”) is a community-driven, multidisciplinary art initiative featuring the works of eight (8) artists whose artworks will be exhibited at the Alcove Centre for the Arts. The exhibition will run from June 20 to July 4 at Alcove Core. The event will also include a workshop hosted by Anakbayan and Migrante Calgary, sharing the realities of Filipino migration and creating space to educate, mobilize, and organize around the experiences shaping our lives and kapwa across the diaspora.
