Kaylee Ross is an illustrator who grew up and is currently working out of Calgary, AB
(Mohkinstsis), whose work explores the delicate interplay between the natural world and
the human form. Her practice is a bridge across time, fulfilling the creative promises of her
childhood through elaborate inkwork and bold layers of colour. Drawing from medieval
illustrations, knights, armour, and tattoo culture, her work centers around the idea of
storytelling in the moments and memories that connect people to one another.
