Beyond the Postcard is led by Afro-Cuban Canadian artist Hebert Poll Gutiérrez, in collaboration with Samuel Kugbiyi, Adania Reyes, Amelí Pereira, and Sara-Maya Kaba. This immersive journey through film, puppetry, animation, and spoken word reveals Cuba’s heart—raw, resilient, and unapologetic—telling the stories of those too often silenced.

More than storytelling, this is an urgent act of memory and resistance, challenging assumptions and building empathy.The event is dedicated to International Human Rights Day, December 10.
