Letters to My Younger Self: Exploring Inclusivity in the Arts at Alcove's art space – a partnership with A.N. (@mebedroomstage) through the Artist As Changemaker Program at Trico Changemakers Studio (@tricostudiomru)!

Imagine you’re writing from the perspective of a younger self that longs for opportunities to express yourself through art. The goal of this project is to explore inclusivity in the arts by answering the question: How might we reduce the barriers to accessing safe, collaborative, learning environments and showcase opportunities in the arts?

We will hold a COMMUNITY CONVERSATION at Alcove on SATURDAY, APRIL 6 to discuss the topic of inclusivity in the arts!

The installation can be found right in front of Alcove's entrance along with mailboxes set up in the south-facing window case display! Come drop-by, write a letter, seal it in an envelope and drop it in the mailbox until April 15th.
